The Problem
In 2023, Taras Tech moved to Australia from Europe.
A new continent meant new telephony, and Teams Phone was the best solution.
But the company needed to find a carrier, and the providers it contacted through the Teams admin centre were unresponsive.
Taras then reached out to a major Telecommunications company, only to be told that there would be a setup fee of $1,500 plus mandatory 365 licensing, even though, as a Microsoft partner, Taras was already licensed and could set up Teams Phone internally.
